Dedicated six Biodiversity Gardens today at NACIN in Palasamudram.
Spread across 5.45 acres, these thematic gardens, each with its unique theme and ecological significance, represent a blend of nature, culture and spirituality:
🌿 Chakra Garden – Showcases the connection between nature and the human experience
🌿 Paavana Vana (Sacred Woods) – Features over 40 species with cultural and spiritual importance, including rare trees.
🌿 Panchajnanendriya Vana (Sensory Garden) – Plants connected to each of the five senses - Vision, Taste, Touch, Smell, and Hearing.
🌿 Ashoka Vana – Inspired by the Ramayana, centered around the Ashoka tree (Saraca asoca), an endemic species to the Indian Subcontinent known for its medicinal properties.
🌿 Zen Garden – Reflects Japanese Zen philosophy and echoes Indian wisdom in form and flow.
🌿 Kamala Vana (Lotus Garden) – A living symbol of regeneration, where discarded stones have given way to meditative beauty.
