Chaired the 29th meeting of the Financial Stability and Development Council (FSDC) yesterday in Mumbai. Urged regulators and departments to expedite the process of refunding unclaimed amounts to their rightful owners by holding coordinated, multi-agency, special district-level camps. Exhorted FSDC to further take proactive steps for seamless KYC processes across the financial sector so that citizens don’t face challenges.
