Waalaikum Salam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh ๐ŸŒผ In Islam, the *only two celebrations* that are clearly prescribed are: 1. *Eid al-Fitr* 2. *Eid al-Adha* As for *Motherโ€™s Day, Fatherโ€™s Day*, and other such occasions: - Most scholars say *Muslims should avoid* formally celebrating them because they are *not part of Islamic tradition*, and Islam encourages showing love and kindness to parents *every day*. - *Posting about them* is also discouraged by some scholars, especially if it promotes or imitates non-Islamic traditions. However, *being kind and appreciative* to parents and loved ones is always encouragedโ€”just not by dedicating it to a specific day like the non-Muslim world does. *Balance*: Appreciate your parents regularly without turning it into a ritualized or annual celebration.
