MY DADDY SAID! Have you ever tried to argue with a child whose father promised them something? That child will not budge from his belief, standing firmly on the strength of: “MY DADDY SAID.” It doesn’t matter how sound your arguments are, or how convincing your facts may seem. That child will simply respond: “MY DADDY SAID...” He believes because it’s personal. He heard his voice. He saw him. He trust him. All the objections you raise, the impossibility of the promise, the improbability of the outcome, mean nothing. “MY DADDY SAID.” This is, in fact, how faith truly works. It is standing resolutely on what Daddy God has said, and holding fast to it, regardless of any internal doubts or external contradictions. “MY DADDY SAID.” The power of faith lies not primarily in what was said, but in who said it. It begins with the identity of the speaker. When you truly know God as Father, certain expectations are birthed within you and He will never fall short of them. So, has God said anything to you? Are you holding firm to His words despite how things look around or within you?
