The Mpumalanga office, the Provincial Legislature's Portfolio Committee on Education and other stakeholders conducted an oversight visit at the Lowveld High school in the City of Mbombela yesterday, to affirm commitment to education in the province. The school was found to be progressive in improving its performance and accountability, despite the challenges that still prevail, such as bullying. The Commission committed to host an outreach session to address this issue, as it was raised as a serious concern by everyone. Additionally, it was agreed upon that the school needs to develop a policy that talks about bullying at school.
