*Massive Global Data Breach: Pakistani users asked to change passwords immediately* Pakistan social media users have been warned to change their passwords immediately following a major global data breach that exposed sensitive information from millions of accounts. The alert was issued by the National Cyber Emergency Response Team urging users to act fast to protect their online security. Reports reveal that more than 180 million users around the world have had their personal data stolen. Accounts from popular platforms like Google, Facebook, Instagram, Apple and even government websites have been targeted. The information was taken using a malware known as “info stealer,” which secretly collects login details and stores them in unsafe online databases. Authorities are urging everyone to immediately change their passwords, use strong and unique combinations and activate two-factor authentication for added protection. They also recommend using password managers and keeping antivirus software up to date.
