Young Stars Shine Bright at UON "Talent Hunt Show" UON, 30,May 2025 — The Department of Mass Communication in Collaboration with DSA Organised Talent Hunt Show in Seminar Hall of UON echoed with applause, laughter, and melodies on Friday Morning as young performers from different Departments of University took the stage for a grand Talent Hunt Show, showcasing their skills in singing, Punjabi tappay, standup comedy, and acting. The event aimed to provide a platform for emerging talent, celebrate regional culture, and multiple performances among the youth. The show opened with a vibrant group tappay performance, where young duos playfully exchanged verses steeped in humor, love, and wit. The audience couldn’t help but join in with rhythmic clapping as the dholki beat intensified the cultural vibe. In the singing segment, participants captivated the crowd with soulful renditions of folk classics and contemporary hits. Special applause was reserved for Mr Adeel Gill from MCM Department , who performed a powerful version of “Lathe Di Chaadar,” earning a standing ovation from audience. The standup comedy was performed by the students of English, Environmental and MCM Departments.The crowd in stitches with his hilarious take on everyday Punjabi family life. His timing and delivery reflected professional-level confidence. At the End of the show, the souvenir and Certificates were distributed among all the participants.
