The National Police Service (NPS) has said that a police officer who shot an unarmed civilian with an anti-riot shotgun in Nairobi’s CBD has been arrested. NPS says the officer is now in custody and will be arraigned. A statement signed by Police Spokesman Muchiri Nyaga says the man who was shot in the head was taken to hospital and is receiving treatment.
