*TODAY'S REFLECTION* Jesus calls his disciples to strive for perfection. He proposes the father’s love, goodness and generosity towards all people as the perfect model for his followers. Most people are good only towards those who are kind to them, and are uncaring, indifferent or hateful towards those who do them harm. Jesus places a challenge before his disciples… to dare to love, to be kind, to pray for all persons with whom we interact, regardless of their attitude and behavior towards us. It’s a challenge to grow in unconditional love. Yet, the more we do this, the more we become like God himself. *PERSONAL DEVOTIONAL* You have heard that it was said, Love your friends, hate your enemies, But now I tell you; love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may become the children of your Father in heaven.. - Matthew 5:43-45 - Asked the Lord for pardon for your sins especially for the times you have cheated and have involved in dubious business deals. *Let Us Pray,* Father, in humility I come to you, asking for mercy and pardon for my sins and those of my children / wards. Forgive me for the times I have failed in my responsibilities. Forgive me for the times I fail to forgive others. Do not let my children/ward to suffer because of my sins. Holy Spirit, transform me and all my children/wards into your living temples of holiness and glory in the name of Jesus. *Amen*
