Several people are now displaced following a fire that broke out this morning at King William Street in Bridgetown.
The Barbados Fire Service was alerted to the blaze at 7:15 a.m. and responded with two water tenders from the Bridgetown and Port fire stations.
Ten fire officers, under the command of Divisional Officer Marlon Small, were deployed to the scene.
CBC News was informed that the fire was contained to the upstairs section of the two-storey building.
