Funds allocated for hundreds of projects along Fictitious Durand Line Officials from the Ministry of Borders, Tribes, and Tribal Affairs announced at a conference in Kabul that, following directives from the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, they have earmarked a budget for executing development initiatives in regions adjacent to the Durand Line. Maulvi Mohammad Ismail Ghaznavi, the deputy head of the Ministry of Border Inspection, stated that this budget has been allocated for various essential projects such as education, healthcare, telecommunications, road infrastructure, and other fundamental schemes. He further disclosed that 343 projects, valued at one billion afghanis, have been sanctioned across seven provinces, with 76 projects already in progress. It is important to highlight that over the past four years, the Islamic Emirate has prioritized the implementation of projects in remote regions of the country, resulting in the successful execution of numerous initiatives in these areas.
