Afghan Delegation Attends Russia 2025 International Economic Conference The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock in Afghanistan has disclosed that a prominent delegation from the Islamic Emirate, led by Minister Maulvi Attaullah Omari, departed for St. Petersburg, Russia today to attend the Russia 2025 International Economic Conference. The delegation includes officials from the Ministries of Economy, Industry, and Commerce, members of the Chamber of Commerce, as well as several investors. The delegation comprising Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce Maulvi Ahmadullah Zahid, Technical Deputy Minister of Economy Dr. Abdul Latif Nazari, Deputy Minister of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment Mohammad Yunus Mohmand, along with various Afghan businessmen and investors, will represent Afghanistan at this global event. The ministry highlighted that this conference, scheduled in St. Petersburg from June 18 to 21, is a crucial economic forum hosting representatives from over 140 nations. The agenda primarily encompasses economic dialogues, environmental matters, agriculture, commerce, industry, investment, and knowledge exchange. Afghanistan's active engagement at this conference is deemed pivotal for enhancing economic ties and fostering international collaboration, particularly in agriculture, commerce, industry, and investment sectors. It is worth mentioning that Afghan government officials have been significantly involved in high-level participation at international conferences and regional meetings, engaging with officials from diverse countries during these gatherings.
