On the 13th of June 2025, Honourable Mukomberi of Masvingo South Constituency together with ward 22 Councillor, Councillor Marambire visited Ward 22 to meet the villages affected by the Tugwi Mukosi Master plan. The constituents were very concerned about their fate. However, after the engagement with the MP they felt relieved as grey areas were clarified. Ward 22 greatly appreciated the Second republic under HE Dr ED Mnangagwa's stewardship, especially on the development trajectory set for Tugwi Mukosi.
