*Zanu-PF Pushes MPs to Prioritize Constituencies, Monitors Performance* Sat 14 June 2025 - Bindura Mashonaland Central-Zanu-PF's National Political Commissar, Cde Munyaradzi Machacha, has emphasized the crucial role of Members of Parliament (MPs) in serving their constituents. Speaking at a Mashonaland Central Provincial meeting in Bindura, Cde Machacha urged MPs to dedicate the majority of their time to their constituencies, addressing the needs of the people they represent. He revealed that a recent survey had identified 17 MPs who were found to be neglecting their communities. Cde Machacha strongly condemned such behavior, labeling it "unpatriotic" and calling for an immediate change in their approach. Conversely, he commended the MPs in Mashonaland Central for their consistent presence and engagement with their constituents, highlighting them as an example of dedication. This directive comes after Zanu-PF recently held a meeting with its MPs to provide feedback from the aforementioned constituency survey.
