He had last been seen at home with his wife, Kerina Nyawera Nyakapanga, before departing under unclear circumstances and never returned. The matter was reported to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Ruwangwe, who attended the scene and launched an investigation. Authorities are yet to establish the cause of death.
