❗ATTENTION STUDENTS❗ It's has come to the notice of the SRC of the misunderstanding among the level 100 students regarding the *FREE ACADEMIC FEES FOR LEVEL 100s* by the current government. Kindly take time to go through this for your understanding. The *No-Fees-Stress Policy* reimbursement process works for *Level 100 students* in Ghana’s public tertiary institutions, based on the latest government updates: *1. Registration on the No-Fees-Stress Portal* - *Yes, Level 100 students must register* on the official portal https://nofeesstress.sltf.gov.gh to be eligible for reimbursement . - The portal is used to: 1. Verify student identities against institutional admission records. 2. Ensure accurate disbursement by cross-checking data submitted by universities . *2. How Reimbursement Works* - *No direct cash refunds*: The government has scrapped initial plans to refund fees directly to students’ bank accounts . - *Credit for second-year fees*: Instead, the amount paid by Level 100 students for the *2025 academic year* will be *credited to their institutional student accounts* to offset *2026/2027 fees*. Example: If you paid GH¢2,000 for 2025, this amount will be deducted from your second-year fees. *3. Role of Institutions* - Universities will submit lists of enrolled Level 100 students to the *Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF)* for verification . This is where Accra Technical University Management is saying that they require the level 100s to provide their Ghana Cards details for them as its been required by the Policy. Ghana Card is not a basic requirement when applying for ATU as compared to other institutions. So now they will have to submit it.
