PRAYER. It is a way the believers use to talk to God. Prayer is only prayer when you have prayed not when you have been prayed for, because the bible says when you pray. WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT PRAYER. Matthew 6 vs 5. When you pray , don't be like the hypocrites. They love to stand in the synagogues and an the street corners and pray loudly. They want people to see them. The truth is, that's all the reward they will get. In other words your motive to pray should not be that to be seen by people, because he will reward you by making sure that people are there to see you praying and that will be your whole reward. For God looks answers the heart not the words. Matthew 6 vs 6. But when you pray, you should go into your room and close the door. Then pray to your Father . He is there in that private place. He can see what is done in private, and he will reward you. In other words when you are in a place where people don't see you God is there to see you, and when you are in a place where people can't hear you God will hear you. Matthew 6 vs 7 - 8. And when you pray, don't be like the who don't know God. They say the same thing again and again. They think that if they say it enough, their God will hear them. Don't be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask him. In other words don't repeat the same prayer over and over again for God knows, God hears and God answers prayers. You can ask Elijah and the prophets of Baal, the prophets of Baal prayed the whole day repeating the same thing but nothing happened then comes Elijah he prayed a simple prayer "God prove that you are God and that am your servant and then fire came down immediately" . So you can look at your situation and pray that God prove that you are God and I am your servant, and God will answer you!. Isaiah 65 vs 24. I will answer them before they call for help, I will help them before they finish asking. So Isaiah 65 vs 24 gives us the assurance that God Knows , God Hears and God Answers.
