Interior CS, Kipchumba Murkomen issues NEW REFORMS in restoring professionalism within the Police Force
1. It shall be mandatory to equip CCTV surveillance in all police stations.
Any CCTV failure to be reported within one hour
2. Digitization of the Occurrence Book (OB)
3. Community Policing Initiative
4. Regular Audit and performance review
5. Training and education of all the police officers
6. Partnerships with other stakeholders to improve professionalism of the police
