Complications of *H. pylori* infection include: 1. *Peptic Ulcers* – Most common; ulcers form in the stomach or duodenum due to mucosal damage. 2. *Gastritis* – Chronic inflammation of the stomach lining. 3. *Stomach (Gastric) Cancer* – Long-term infection increases risk. 4. *MALT Lymphoma* – A rare type of stomach cancer affecting lymphoid tissue. 5. *Atrophic Gastritis* – Loss of gastric gland function, leading to nutrient malabsorption. 6. *Iron-deficiency Anemia* – From chronic gastritis affecting absorption. 7. *Vitamin B12 Deficiency* – Due to impaired intrinsic factor secretion. Early detection and treatment with antibiotics and acid-suppressing therapy reduce risk.
