*Dear God, thank You for this day. Thank You for being a safe place where I can truly rest. I have a lot going on, and I admit I don’t always know how to slow down. But your word in Psalm 37:7 says, “Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him.” Help me actually do that. Help me not to get anxious or frustrated when things don’t happen when I want them to. Teach me to stop comparing my life to others and trust that You’re working every detail out for my good. When I start overthinking and worrying, remind me to come back to Your promises. Help me breathe, relax, and remember that I can depend on You. I don’t want to just wait. I want to wait with peace, knowing that You’ve got this. Thank you for everything.
