1. President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed grief over the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad. An Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner, operating as Flight AI171 from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick, crashed shortly after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on the afternoon of 12 June 2025.
2. The Ministry of Civil Aviation informed that an operational control room has been activated at the Ministry to coordinate all details, available at contact numbers 011-24610843 and 9650391859. It added that the Ministry is committed to a swift response and full support for all affected. A dedicated helpline number, PLUS 91 99741 11327, has been set up at Ahmedabad airport for passenger queries and assistance.
3. Army and NDRF teams engaged in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts. Home Minister Amit Shah and Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu at crash site to oversee relief and rescue operations.

4. Following the Air India flight crash, Indian railways will run two special trains to facilitate passengers from Ahmedabad. One train will operate from Ahmedabad at 12 AM for Mumbai. Another train from Ahmedabad at 11:30 PM for New Delhi.

1. The Madras High Court has suspended the sentence of one-month imprisonment imposed on IAS officer Anshul Mishra for “civil contempt” by failing to follow an earlier order of the court in a land case.
2. In a major development in the murder case of Indore man Raja Raghuvanshi, his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi has reportedly confessed to killing him. Meghalaya police said Sonam admitted her role in the crime during cross-examination in front of another accused, Raj Kushwaha.
3. Punjab Police have opened a murder investigation after the body of social media personality Kamal Kaur was discovered inside a parked car near Adesh Medical University in Bathinda on Wednesday night. Kaur, a Ludhiana resident with over 3.83 lakh Instagram followers, was known for her viral reels, some of which had sparked controversy.
4. Karnataka High Court has granted conditional interim bail to Royal Challengers Bengaluru, RCB marketing head and three others arrested in the recent Chinnaswamy Stadium stampede case.

Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III, (13-Jun-1889 to 02-Mar-1949) was Prime Minister of Hyderabad Deccan during the reign of VII Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan.
