🇨🇲 *Promotion of Made in Cameroon in Littoral Region* 💸 Cameroon's government is working to strengthen support for standardization and certification of locally transformed products by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), handicrafts, and other economic operators. To achieve this, the government via the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts, launched today, June 18th, 2025, in Douala, the economic developmental initiative. The workshop is chaired by the Littoral Regional Delegate of the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts, Madame MACHE Sylvie Solange. At the gathering that sees the presence of SMEs enterprises, proposed solutions include developing a document outlining conventions with partners, acquiring and disseminating standards, organizing and promoting enterprises by sector, and implementing a system to facilitate payment of certification fees.
