One of the vital principles of Tibb-e-Nabawi diet is “ *Food combinations* ”.
Combining two hot foods without pairing them with a cold natured food is not a wise decision. Similarly, combining two dry natured substances without a wet food is not a good choice.
Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam combined fresh dates ~ Rutab (hot natured) with cucumber ~ a cooling vegetable, at another occasion, he combined ripe dates ~ Tamar which are dry in nature with butter; which is a wet substance.
*Thareed* as the best food of this world has the same wisdom, mutton soup which may have oil & spices is a hot natured food, & it was combined & neutralized with the blessed Barley bread which is surprisingly cold in nature, unlike the wheat bread which is a hot substance, so combining mutton soup with wheat bread, for making Thareed is invalid.
See how you are taking your meals, curries having oil & spices are usually combined with wheat bread or rice; & both of these grains are hot natured.
