SEEING YOURSELF AS A FAILURE BECOMES A SELF FULFILLING PROPHECY I was reading and I came across a marvelous scene in Victor Hugo's "Les Miserables ", the scene caught my heart and it change my perception about humans. It was a character teetering between a life of crime and a moral life, where a man stole some silver from a priest. Later, when the thief was caught. The priest spared the man. He told the policemen that the silver wasn't stolen but was actually a gift to the man. This act of mercy completely turned around the life of the thief. I learnt this lessons from the scene. 1.Once the man was branded a thief, he will continue in the path. But persuading the man that he is not a thief and that he has stolen nothing helps him build his moral life. 2. Let's learn to help others who are falling short in their life and others who are fighting problems. Let's us not label them with their wrong. It can kill their soul. 3.Many are struggling with something they can’t come out with. But let’s be kind to those whose flaws are evident. Let’s reach them on the tickets of perspective and understand them with compassion. We are all struggling. Be the reason why someone will hope for tomorrow. Be kind It is well. Tsifodze Kwadzo Ernest
