(Romans 8:28) As a teenager, Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers. Things were looking up for him in Egypt until he was falsely accused. None of these challenges discouraged Joseph. Rather, he trusted the Lord and later became the Prime Minister of Egypt. So, it doesn’t matter what the situation is; remember that all things are working together for your good. No wonder the Bible tells you to “count it all joy when you fall into various trials” (James 1:2). Instead of being sad and moody because of the situation, be thankful and joyful! Remember, “in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). And like Joseph, you’ll become better, greater and stronger than before.
