As a child of God, you’re like a soldier in service, working in God’s Kingdom. You’re expected to serve in God’s house, and the Lord will give you strength so you can do more. Therefore, don’t shy away from serving “… in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15). So, whenever you get the opportunity to serve in Church, take it. It could be in helping to arrange the chairs, singing in the choir or coordinating orderliness as an Usher. It’s a great honour to serve and be known in God’s house. SCRIPTURE READING 1 Peter 4:10-11 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
