*DAILY NUGGETS* *_"Avoiding the fire is wisdom. Playing close to it is pride."_* Many times, we flirt with compromise, get close to sin, or entertain habits, people, or environments that are destructive; thinking we’re still in control. But fire has only one nature: to burn. It doesn't negotiate. Just as no one can tuck fire under their clothes and expect to remain unharmed, no one can keep entertaining wrong influences or behaviors and expect to escape the consequences. _“Can a man take fire to his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?” — Proverbs 6:27_ This scripture paints a vivid truth using a physical principle to highlight a spiritual and moral reality: you can’t entertain danger and expect to come out untouched. This applies to every area of life; relationships, business, personal conduct, secret habits. What you tolerate will eventually dominate. Fire doesn’t burn because it hates, it burns because it’s in its nature. Likewise, sin doesn’t destroy you because you’re weak, it does so because that’s its nature. *Action Point:* Do a heart check. What are you allowing into your life that is quietly burning through your peace, integrity, or purpose? Don’t wait to get consumed, step away now. Replace it with things that build, heal, and align with your destiny. *Stay Away from the Fire* *Daily Nuggets* *Discovery Annex*
