Evening of Ukrainian films

❗️ This month’s vote brought us a clear winner — and a heavy, powerful story.
🎬 On June 1, we’ll be screening “Chervonyi” (2017) — a gripping historical drama based on real events.
Set in a Stalinist prison camp in 1947, the film tells the story of a Ukrainian who refuses to break — even when everything around him is built to destroy. It’s a raw, intense portrait of dignity, defiance, and the kind of resistance that doesn’t need weapons.
⚠️ Please note: This film is rated 16+. We kindly ask you not to bring children, as the content is emotionally intense and not suitable for younger audiences.
