Dear Fellow Freelancers, Clients Will Keep Ghosting You Until You Stop Letting Them. Youโ€™re frustrated. Clients reach out, promise the world, get you excited, and thenโ€ฆ nothing. They disappear. They ghost you. And it hurts, doesnโ€™t it? But hereโ€™s the part no one wants to admit: Youโ€™re letting them. Youโ€™re waiting for them to respect your time, but youโ€™re not respecting your boundaries. Youโ€™re giving them free reign to waste your time, and they know it. Clients will keep ghosting you until you set the tone from the beginning. Theyโ€™ll keep disappearing until you stop chasing them and start leading them. Theyโ€™ll keep stringing you along until you stop letting them call the shots. Let me make something clear; Stop letting clients dictate your schedule. If they donโ€™t respect your time, move on. Stop giving discounts because youโ€™re scared of losing work. If they want your best, theyโ€™ll pay for it. Stop tolerating the โ€œmaybe laterโ€ line. Set deadlines and stick to them or walk away. Youโ€™re a professional, not a volunteer. If clients want your expertise, they need to treat it as such. If they donโ€™t, cut the cord and move on to those who value your time and work. Hereโ€™s the kicker: When you stop allowing ghosting, youโ€™ll get more respect from clients. When you stop begging for validation, youโ€™ll start commanding it. You donโ€™t need to chase clients, let the right ones come to you. Stop tolerating disrespect. Start demanding professionalism.
