*The Telangana Chief Minister's Overseas Scholarship (CMOM) for Minority students pursuing Post Graduate/Doctoral courses in Foreign Universities is currently open for applications.*
Important Dates:
* Admission period: Students who have secured admission between 01.01.2025 and 30.06.2025 are eligible to apply.
* Last date for Registration: 30-06-2025
Eligibility Criteria:
* Residency: Applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana.
* Community: Must belong to a Minority community (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi).
* Age Limit: Must be below 35 years as of July 1st of the application year.
* Family Income: Total family income from all sources should be less than ₹5 lakh per annum.
* Academic Qualification:
* For Post Graduate Course: Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in a foundation degree (Engineering, Management, Pure Sciences, Agriculture Sciences, Medicine and Nursing, Social Sciences, or Humanities).
* For Ph.D. Courses: Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in a P.G. course (Engineering, Management, Pure Sciences, Agriculture Sciences, Medicine, Social Sciences, or Humanities).
* Standardized Tests: Must have valid TOEFL/IELTS and GRE/GMAT scores. Minimum scores generally required are:
* TOEFL: 60
* IELTS: 6.0 band score
* GRE: 260
* GMAT: 500
* Admission: Must have secured admission to an accredited Foreign University in an eligible country (USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Germany, New Zealand, Japan, France, and South Korea).
* Passport: Must possess a valid passport.
* One Child Per Family: Only one person from a family can apply under this scheme.
* One-time Benefit: The scholarship can be awarded only once in a lifetime.
Scholarship Benefits:
* Financial assistance up to ₹20 lakh or the amount specified in the admission letter (whichever is less).
* Costs of a one-way economy class air ticket.
* Visa charges.
Application Process:
* Visit the official Telangana ePASS Portal: https://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in/
* Navigate to "Overseas Scholarship Services."
* Select "Chief Minister's Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Minorities."
* Click on "Register."
* Fill out the online application form completely and accurately.
* Upload all the required documents.
* Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.

* Aadhaar Card
* Caste Certificate (from Mee Seva)
* Income Certificate (from Mee Seva)
* Birth Certificate
* E-pass ID Number
* Residential/Nativity Certificate
* Passport copy
* Mark sheets from SSC/Inter/Graduate/PG Level
* GRE/GMAT or equivalent qualifying exam/test scorecard
* TOEFL/IELTS scorecard
* Admission offer letter from a Foreign University (I-20, letter of Admission or equivalent)
* Copy of the latest Tax Assessment (if applicable)
* Copy of Bank Pass Book of a Nationalized Bank
* Recent Photograph of the applicant
* Salary certificate from the employer (if applicable, for employed applicants)
* Transfer Certificate
