Interested candidates are invited to submit their resumes to [email protected] KEY RESULTS / ACCOUNTABILITIES / PERFORMANCE MEASURES To lead the planning function at the site level by developing and managing detailed project schedules, ensuring coordination between departments, monitoring progress and productivity, handling delay analysis and claims, and delivering accurate, timely reports to support project delivery. JOB SUMMARY (Major functions of the position) To lead planning and scheduling for large-scale building construction and structural steel erection projects within the Ski Village Project in KSA. This includes managing the planning process using Primavera P6, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring progress alignment with project goals. 1. Planning & Scheduling • Lead development of project baseline schedule including WBS, resource/cost loading, and critical path identification using Primavera P6. • Prepare and implement planning procedures outlining formats, frequency, and reporting methodology. • Ensure integration of subcontractor programs into the master baseline and maintain compliance with contract milestones. • Prepare weekly/monthly look-ahead schedules and working programs in coordination with site and discipline leads. 2. Monitoring & Progress Measurement • Monitor actual progress vs. baseline using updated data from site teams and subcontractors. • Track schedule variance and perform time impact analysis (TIA) and recovery planning as required. • Generate productivity reports, curves, histograms, and performance dashboards. • Monitor Longest Path and flag deviations to the PCM/PM weekly. 3. Reporting & Communication • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports per the approved project calendar. • Review and compile narratives for all planning reports, highlighting achievements, delays, and recovery strategies. • Present schedule performance and mitigation plans in internal/client meetings. • Develop and report KPIs across trades and departments. 4. Delay & Risk Management • Perform Delay Analysis and develop Extension of Time (EOT) programs using appropriate methods (Windows, Impacted As-Planned, etc.). • Proactively identify risks/opportunities that affect the schedule and escalate to Project Controls Manager. • Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for claims and variations. Coordination & Tender Support • Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and QA/QC to ensure aligned data inputs. • Support Estimating and Proposals team in preparing tender schedules and preliminary planning inputs for new bids. • Coordinate with BIM/modelling teams (if applicable) for integration of planning data. 6. Compliance & People Management • Uphold and promote HSE and Quality standards on-site. • Mentor and guide junior planning engineers and support staff in planning techniques and tools. • Ensure compliance with the company’s code of conduct, ethics, and project management framework. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent Desired Professional / Exposure or Experience: • 8–10 years of project planning experience in building construction and/or structural steel erection (Gulf experience preferred). • Primavera P6 (Expert), MS Excel, PowerPoint.
