EHS Manager – Etihad Rail Project Location: Sharjah/Abu Dhabi / Eastern Region, UAE Company: [LARSEN & TOUBRO LIMITED – Contractor on Etihad Rail Project: Etihad Rail Sharjah University Stations Works Job Type: Full-Time | Site-Based Salary: Competitive, based on experience Start Date: Immediate We are seeking an experienced EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Manager to oversee and lead all safety-related activities on the Etihad Rail Project. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and international best practices, promoting a strong safety culture across the project site. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Implement and manage the site-specific EHS Management System in alignment with Etihad Rail standards. • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure site compliance. • Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective/preventive actions. • Monitor contractor and subcontractor EHS performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. • Prepare and submit EHS reports to the Client and internal stakeholders. • Deliver EHS training and toolbox talks to site personnel. • Liaise with project management, client representatives, and regulatory bodies. ________________________________________ Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences (or related field). • NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory). • ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 internal auditor certifications preferred. • Minimum 10-15 years of EHS experience in large infrastructure or rail projects. • Prior experience on UAE at least 7-10y years-based mega projects (Etihad Rail or similar) is highly desirable. • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and EAD/OSHA regulations. • Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
