🚨 No bike taxis like Rapido and Ola in Karnataka from June 16.
The Karnataka High Court banned bike taxi services like Ola, Uber, and Rapido due to the lack of a legal framework under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The government cites safety concerns, especially for women, and pressure from auto/taxi unions, who see bike taxis as illegal competition using private vehicles
