Gauteng – Acting on information gathered by the JMPD Tactical Response Unit (TRU) regarding a male suspect wanted for multiple murder cases, officers proceeded to an address at the corner of Elephant Street and Golden Highway in Vlakfontein. Upon arrival, officers spotted a man matching the suspect’s description. As they approached, he noticed them and attempted to flee but was quickly intercepted. A search was conducted, and officers found an unlicensed Glock 19 firearm with ammunition in his possession. The firearm had been reported stolen in Cosmo City. The suspect was arrested and detained at Lenasia South SAPS.
