Gauteng - The multidisciplinary forces of Operation Shanela continue to with disruptive activities at Benoni policing precinct. The team led by the Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Mthombeni has arrested 9 suspects for contravening the Immigration Act and Illegal Mining related activities. Several equipment of illegal mining such as phendukas, steel balls and crush pots were also seized.
