As an experienced Applications Support Specialist, the incumbent is expected to provide occasional Level 1, but in most cases Level 2 technical support for loan management and financial applications used within the company. This role involves troubleshooting, resolving application incidents, monitoring application performance, and collaborating with development teams to fix issues and enhance functionality. The incumbent will also be responsible for documenting processes, managing code migrations, and staying updated on the latest technologies.

๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง:
BSc. Software Engineering, B.Eng. Computer Systems, BSc Computer Science or equivalent Information Technology degree.
๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐:
โข Two years working experience specializing in Business Applications Support within the financial sector is mostly preferred for this role.
โข Experience in Core Banking Systems or Financial Data Analysis platforms.
โข Experience working with Micro-Loan platforms and Financial Inclusion technologies is highly preferred for this role.
๐๐ง๐จ๐ฐ๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐:
Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycles, Incident Management, and Database Concepts is essential.
๐๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ:
โข Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex software applications-related issues promptly to ensure operational continuity, and ability to provide applications support for a fast-paced, customer-focused financial environment.
โข Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical, to interact with team members, other departments, and vendors effectively.
โข Knowledge of Regulatory Standards relevant to Micro-Finance such as data protection and loan servicing.
โข Understanding of API Integrations for financial services and Automation Tools.
โข Skill in maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base and provide documentation on application system processes and troubleshooting steps.

โข Provide technical L1 and L2 support for loan management and financial applications used within Letshego.
โข Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting loan processing, customer transactions, and system performance.
โข Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve application software related incidents.
โข Monitor application functionality and security to ensure compliance with micro-finance regulations.
โข Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve system efficiency and automate processes.
โข Assist in application testing, updates, patching and feature enhancements.
โข Maintain a knowledge base and provide documentation on application system processes and troubleshooting steps.
โข Support integrations with mobile payment platforms, credit scoring tools, and financial reporting systems.
โข Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning related to critical loan management and financial applications.
โข Train end-users on software application features, best practices, and security protocols.
โข Participate in system audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
