The officer will ensure that data collection, analysis, and reporting processes are systematic, accurate, and aligned with project goals. This role is critical in generating evidence to inform decision-making, improve program performance, and demonstrate impact. 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: A Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer's roles are to collect, capture, analyse, and report on data to assess the outcomes of SLC projects. M&E Officer will also ensure that data collection and management processes are implemented. The M&E Officer will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation, research and learning frameworks for all projects implemented by SLC. M&E Officer will develop a systematic monitoring framework to improve the qualitative and quantitative evidence gathered by SLC. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: • Develop and implement a comprehensive M&E framework for all SLC projects. • Design tools and methodologies for data collection, analysis, and reporting. • Coordinate routine monitoring activities and ensure timely data collection from project sites. • Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to assess project outcomes and impact. • Prepare regular M&E reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. • Support project teams in integrating M&E findings into planning and implementation. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all M&E processes. • Facilitate learning and knowledge-sharing sessions based on M&E findings. • Contribute to the design and implementation of baseline studies, mid-term reviews, and end-line evaluations. • Build the capacity of staff and partners on M&E tools and practices. 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: • Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage). • Minimum of 3 years of experience in M&E, preferably within the NGO or development sector. • Strong knowledge of M&E methodologies, tools, and best practices. • Proficiency in data analysis software. • Excellent report writing and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
