Child Protection Week provides a chance for organisations to form collaborations aimed at ensuring a safe environment for children in their daily lives. Nal'ibali- The Trevor Noah Foundation Literacy Project recently collaborated with Sisterhood Foundation, Teddy Bear Clinic, Gauteng Information and Library Services to educate the community of Eldorado Park in Gauteng on how to build a safer environment for children. Parents and Early Childhood Development practitioners were trained on how to make their homes and ECDs safer environments for children to thrive. The little ones used paint and music to share messages about child protection. Child protection, like literacy, can only be achieved through cooperation across organisations, governments, communities, and institutions that engage with children.
