*PHANEROO~DEVOTION* Monday, 16th June 2025 Apostle Grace Lubega *1 Corinthians 6:12 (KJV):* All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. *GOD’S PERSONAL DEALINGS WITH US* In our theme scripture, Paul makes a profound personal statement: “All things are lawful for me…” Notice the emphasis—for me. He is not making a universal declaration or setting a doctrinal standard for the church at large. Instead, he is describing the intimate reality of his own walk with God. This is where maturity in Christ becomes essential. While we are all part of the same Body, each of us has a unique journey, specific assignments, and personal dealings with God. What may be permissible for others might not be expedient—helpful, beneficial, or fruitful—for you. Paul understood his freedom, but he also recognized that not everything aligned with his mission, his calling, or his spiritual health. For example, you may choose not to engage with certain platforms like social media, places, or habits—not because they are inherently sinful, but because in your own relationship with God, they are simply not for you. That decision is sacred. And just as you honor God in that space, it's important not to judge others whose convictions differ. They may have a grace to be where you are not called to be. Christian growth includes understanding personal boundaries without projecting them as spiritual benchmarks for everyone. Your part is to allow God to lead you in honoring the distinction between lawful and expedient in your daily choices. Hallelujah! *FURTHER STUDY:* Romans 14:22, Galatians 5:13 *GOLDEN NUGGET:* Christian growth includes understanding personal boundaries without projecting them as spiritual benchmarks for everyone. Your part is to allow God to lead you in honoring the distinction between lawful and expedient in your daily choices. *PRAYER:* Lord, thank You for the freedom I have in Christ. I walk in personal obedience, discerning what is expedient for my life and calling. Teach me not to judge others by my convictions, but to honor their walk with You just as I seek to honor mine. Give me clarity in what You’ve called me to do and the grace to follow through with conviction and peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen. bit.ly/TheGloryOfABuilder *#phaneroodevotion📜*
