. *First Ten days of Dhul Hijjah and The Days Of Tashreeq at a glance.* 💠Dhul Hijjah is the last month of the Hijiri calender . 💠It is one of the four sacred months ( Dhul Qada, Dhul hijjah , Muharram and Rajab ) *💠The first Ten days of Dhul Hijjah are venerated days.* Allāh ﷻ swore by them in His Book in Suratul Fajr /89:1 ...and swearing by a thing is indicative of its importance . 💠Righteous Deeds done in these days are more beloved to Allah than in any other days of the year....*( these days are even more beloved than the last ten days of Ramadan but not its nights as it has Lailatul Qadar in it* ..(tafseer ibn katheer 5/412)]. 💠These ten days include The Day of Arafah? *which falls on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah in accordance to the hijiri calender of respective lands.* *▪Fasting this day expiates sins (minor) of past and following year.* (Muslim) *▪Also there is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the day of Arafat.* (Muslim) *💠10th day is The.Day of Eid and offering Sacrifice.* *💠Following Eid are the three days-- the.11th , 12th, and 13th of Dhul Hijjah.* These are called the Days of Tashreeq ( al-ayyaam al tashreeq) 💠The Prophet ﷺ said : *“The days of tashreeq are the days of eating , drinking and remembering Allah”* (Muslim/ 1141) ➖➖➖➖➖ *The Takbeer* *It is sunnah to recite takbeer at any time during the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah and in all the days of Tashreeq , starting from the beginning of the month of Dhul Hijjah that is from the sunset of Dhul Qada until the end of days of Tashreeq , which is when the sun sets on the 13th day of Dhul -Hijjah.* *Two Types* ◼️ A general or a non restricted takbeer.....meaning it is not restricted to a particular time and can be said throughout the first Ten days of Dhul Hijjah right upto the last of the days of Tashreeq. ◼️ *The Specific Takbeer...meaning the Takbeer that is recited after the daily fard prayers , beginning from the Fajr prayer on the day of Arafah (9th Dhul Hijjah) until Asr prayer on the last day of Tashreeq (13th Dhul Hijjah).* This Takbeer is in addition to the non specific Takbeer which can be recited at any time.So when a person says the tasleem at the end of the fard salah after saying the azkaar start the Specific takbeer. Regarding the time of Specific Takbeer this is for those who are not on Hajj as for the pilgrims they should start the Specific Takbeer from Zuhur on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah . ( Majmoo Fataawa Ibn baz 13/17,) ➖➖➖➖➖ *▪Reciting the Takbeer in unison is not legislated..it is an innovation.* ( Ibn baz) *▪It is legislated for the men to raise their voices with it. As for the women, they are not to raise their voices; neither in the house nor in the market places. The woman should not raise her voice with it ( Takbeer );* however, if she is within the house and it makes her more active to say it audibly, then there is no harm.
