An explosion tore through an Iranian state television studio during a live broadcast, sending a female anchor hurrying for cover as smoke billowed and debris fell through the frame, in footage of the moment shared widely on social media.
“That you heard, is the sound of the aggressor against the soil of the homeland, the sound of the aggressor against the sound of truth and right,” she says, just as the explosion hits, rattling the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting studio.
