Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday he would not rule out targeting Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Israel was “doing what we need to do,” Netanyahu said during an appearance on ABC News, and killing Khamenei would not “escalate the conflict” but “end it.”
He was responding to a question about reports by some news outlets that President Donald Trump had vetoed an Israeli plan to kill Khamenei.
