*1 Kings 18:12*- *"I don't know where the Spirit of the LORD may carry you when I leave you. If I go and tell Ahab and he doesn't find you, he will kill me. Yet I, your servant, have worshiped the LORD since my youth."*
Theme: "Since My Youth"
*HEEEEY!!!* A special message for the young people. Blessed are those who serve the Lord from a youthful age. Remember, salvation is a gift received by grace (Ephesians 2:8), so receiving it early is truly a blessing. Have you ever wondered why men of God, like David and Obadiah, took pride in saying, *"I have served the Lord from my youth"*?
Some may ask: *"Isn’t serving the Lord from a young age boring or meaningless?"*
The response is a resounding *NO*.
Why? Because David, who also declared he had served the Lord from his youth, later testifies in *Psalm 37:25*, *"I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread."* David's point is clear—serving the Lord from a youthful age does not bring shame; in fact, it leads to God's provision and faithfulness. Serving the Lord from a youthful age leads to *salvation* without shame (Romans 10:11), just as it is written, *“Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”*
Moreover, Solomon tells us to enjoy our youth, but he also reminds us there’s a trial at the end of it (Ecclesiastes 11:9). So, while we’re young, let’s not take the grace of God for granted. Instead, let's embrace it fully, knowing that a life served to the Lord will never lead to regret.
