President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah received a courtesy visit from Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Secretary General of the Commonwealth. President Nandi-Ndaitwah thanked Hon. Botchwey and her team for bringing Trade Ministers and the Commonwealth Business Summit to Namibia for the first time. The President emphasized the need for the Commonwealth to work on fighting poverty and employment creation, particularly for the youth. The President expressed confidence in Hon. Botchwey's ability to successfully carry out her mandate, further pledging to support her in all her endeavours to carry out the work of the Commonwealth, which is aimed at benefiting people of the Commonwealth.
