4 things I always check before rebranding a client’s business 🎯💡
As a designer, I know a rebrand isn’t just about switching up colors and logos, it’s about reshaping how people see and connect with your business. So before I touch a single pixel, here’s what I look out for:
.
1. What’s not working — and why? 🚫
I don’t guess. I ask the right questions to understand what feels off, whether it’s outdated, off-brand, or not connecting with the audience. I also carry out additional research on why it's not working, That way, I design with direction, not vibes alone.
.
2. What’s working? Let’s keep that! 🧩
If something still works, like the color, a symbol, or even how the brand tells its story — I keep it. Not everything needs fixing. I just build on what’s already working for the brand but better.
.
3. Who are we trying to reach now? 🎯
People evolve, and sometimes, markets shift.. I always make sure we’re designing for who you want to attract now, not who you were targeting years ago.
.
4. Where’s the business headed? 🚀
A good rebrand isn’t just about today — it’s about what’s next. Whether you're scaling, repositioning, or launching something new, I make sure the brand visuals match that future.
.
Truth is — a rebrand isn’t just a glow-up. It’s a strategy.
And when I rebrand, every detail is doing the work, while looking good.
