Upon final selection, candidates with dual nationality will have to surrender nationalities other than Pakistani. Category Qualification : ► BE/BS Software Engineering ► BS in Computer Sciences ► BS in Information Secruity Age : 28 Years (maximum) Ineligiblility Conditions ► Twice rejected by Inter Services Selection Board for Post Graduate Entry. ► Twice rejected by Inter Services Selection Board for Intermediate/Graduate (Pakistan Military Academy/ Graduate/Equivalent) and once rejected by Inter Services Selection Board or General Headquarters/ Naval Headquarters/ Air Headquarters based Selection Boards. ► Once rejected by Inter Services Selection Board for Intermediate/ Graduate (Pakistan Military Academy/ Graduate/ Equivalent) and twice rejected by Inter Services Selection Board or General Headquarters/ Naval Headquarters/ Air Headquarters based Selection Boards. ► A candidate with specific higher qualification, who is rejected once by ISSB for Pakistan Military Academy Long / Gradudate Course or Equivalent Pakistan Navy/ Pakistan Air Force Courses and once rejected for specific higher qualification entry, will not be eligible for 3rd chance. ► Candidates tested within 1 x year validity period (validity of ISSB/ General Headquarters/ Naval Headquarters/ Air Headquarters Selection Boards stands for 1 x year). ► Permanently declared Unfit by Appeal Medical Board (AMB). However, Pakistan Air Force candidates who become medically unfit for flying but fit for ground branches, can undergo routine medical examination as normal candidates, if they are desirous to join Pakistan Army. ► Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B & C (cannot request for AMB). ► Candidates declared with Positive Drug Test from CMHs/ Military Hospitals/ AFIP will be considered as Permanent UNFIT for joining Training Institutions/ Pakistan Military Academy. ► Dismissed/ removed/ debarred from Government Service including Armed Forces. ► Withdrawn from any Academy/ Training Institution of Armed Forces on any ground. ► Withdrawn from any Bonded Armed Forces Colleges/ Institutions on disciplinary grounds. ► Convicted in a Court of Law for an offence involving moral turpitude or any heinous offence (to be ascertained by the competent military authority). ► Tempering of academic certificates/ forgery/ concealment to get undue advantage will render an applicant permanently ineligible for all types of commission in Armed Forces. ► Tested within 4 x months (120 days) gap of previous appearance (for not recommended candidates). NOTE. ISSB Selection System assesses natural officer potential. Coaching on ISSB Tests adversely affects the chances of selection and results in many contradictions in personality traits. In case, it is found that a candidate trained in any private coaching center, he will be considered ineligible to apply for all types of commissions. Registration And Preliminary Selection Process Candidates can register only through Internet. Following procedure will be adopted:- Registration through Internet: A candidate can register on website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. A candidate has to visit the website for the exam slip after succesfully registering himself. Normally it takes 5 to 7 working days for the generation of the exam slip. Candidates will report on exact date and time given for the preliminary test on computerized roll no slip. Date once given will not be changed. Candidates will also bring along documents (as per the list mentioned in advertisement). Candidates MUST attain working knowledge of the computer as registration and tests will be conducted on computers. Preliminary Selection: Following will be including in the initial test with weightages assigned in the module:- ► Written/ Intelligence ► Medical Examination ► Physical Test Written/Intelligence Tests: Written/Intelligence tests will be based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The tests will be conducted at AS&RCs on the date given on computerized roll number slip generated at the time of registration. Medical Tests: Candidate will undergo initial medical at AS&RCs. Physical Tests: Following is the minimum criteria for all candidates, however, candidates with better physical results will be marked accordingly. ► 1.6 Km Run - 9 minutes ► Push Ups - 10 repetitions in 2 minutes ► Crunches - 10 repetitions in 2 minutes ► Pull Ups - 2 repetitions in 2 minutes Further Selection Process Only Short listed candidates will be called for Inter Services Selection Board Tests/ Interviews through website as well as call up letters. Inter Services Selection Board recommended caniddates will be called for interview by General Headquaters Selection Board at Rawalpindi. No Travelling/ Daily Allowance is admissible. Candidates selected by the General Headquarter Selection Board will undergo complete medical examination in the nearest Combined Military Hospital. Final selection will be made at General Headquarters on the basis of overall performance of candidates Training Period at Pakistan Military Academy. 6 Months. Documents Required : Candidates will submit following documents with Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs): ► Original Certificates/ Detailed Marks Sheet alongwith five attested photocopies of every Educational Certificate/ Degree/ Diploma. ► Candidates serving in Government Institutions/ Departments will render 'No Objection Certificate' from the concerned Establishment. ► Attested Photocopy of Domicile. ► Photocopies of Computerized National Identity Card alongwith Verification Slip obtained from NADRA. ► 6 x Coloured Photographs duly attested (1x front & 5x back). ► Candidates must bring their degrees duly verified by HEC/Pakistan Engineering Council. Verification of Degree/ Education Documents. ► Candidates qualifying Preliminary Selection process at Army Selection & Recruitment Centers are required to attach copy of Degree/ Transcriprt duly verified by HEC/PEC along with Application Form. The candidates appearing on 'HOPE Certificate' will submit verified Degree/ Transcript by HEC/PEC within 7 Days of announcement of their result. Bond Finally selected candidates will be required to sign a 'Bond' to serve the Army for a minimum period of 7 Years on E-Stamp Paper wroth Rs. 100/- duly countersigned by Magistrate/ Notary Public/ Oath Commissioner.
