There should be a difference between a dumb creature and a human being. Along with humans, there are dumb creatures living on this earth. A dumb creature also earns food for its children and continues to live with its children. And humans also work hard for their children and feed their children three times a day. But God sees whether a human being can win any test of human life, as a righteousness. It is not about living as a dumb creature, but about knowing the knowledge that is not in it, the knowledge that is within you. That is soul-knowledge, according to the Bhagavadgita. A dumb creature continues to live, but has not acquired soul knowledge, only humans, continuing to live, can acquire soul knowledge, Lord Venkateswara Swamy of the seven hills told me.
