Press Release Tirupati/Appalayagunta, June 7, 2025 Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy in Vaikunthanatha Alankaram on Pedda Sesha Vahanam On the first day of the Brahmotsavams at Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Appalayagunta, the deity graced devotees on Pedda Sesha Vahanam on Saturday night in Vaikunthanatha Alankaram, accompanied by Sridevi and Bhudevi. Adisesha, serving as the divine canopy, displayed his devotion by humbly serving the Lord as his couch and parasol. Adisesha is known to be extremely close to Lord Vishnu—serving as Lakshmana in the Ramavatara and as Balarama in the Dwapara Yuga. On this occasion, he manifested as the divine vehicle for Lord Venkateswara, giving devotees a divine darshan on the inaugural day of the Brahmotsavam. Participating in the vahana seva were Deputy EO Sri Harindranath, AEO Sri Devarajulu, Superintendent Smt. Srivani, Temple Inspector Sri Shivakumar, temple archakas, Srivari sevaks, and a large number of devotees.
