‎For dawah accounts don’t let fame and your viral posts lead to self amazement and being safe from the plans of Allah سبحانه وتعالى. This will lead to your good deeds being nullified. You can earn so many righteous deeds on social media by spreading and sharing reminders but don’t let self amazement null your righteous deeds. ‎Shaykh Abdus Salam al-Shuway'ir حفظه الله: ‎Many people have their rewards decreased and perhaps their deeds become nullified because of being self-amazed with their own deeds. However, if he says: "I seek Allāh's forgiveness" not merely with his tongue, but rather with his heart. ‎He remembers that there must be shortcoming in his deed and that no matter how much he perfects it he has shortcoming before it, after it, and during the deed. Every righteous deed is concluded with istighfar! ‎[Recording] ‎Sometimes people let the fame get to them and they start to act arrogant and getting involved in matters that they can’t comprehend. It’s easy for the shaytan to guide you to riya on social media when giving dawah if you’re not careful. ‎Purify your intentions for the sake of Allah alone, make dua for success in giving dawah and Allah سبحانه وتعالى to accept from you. I myself make dua for Allah to accept my dawah, for I do not know if Allah is accepting my efforts or not. ‎It’s truly distressing if your good deeds are getting accepted or not but all we can do is to have good thoughts of Allah and make plenty of dua for Allah to accept our ibadah which is done for His sake alone and to ask steadfast on His path.
