‎If you prayed for your brother, don‘t inform him about it! ‎Shaykh Abdurrazzaq Al-Badr حفظه الله ورعاه mentioned a beautiful and important reminder: ‎When you want good for your brother or sister, make dua for them sincerely — but do it in secret, without informing them. Let it be a private matter between you and Allah. ‎He said that some people, out of love and good intention, might say, “I’m at the Kaaba and I’m praying for you,” but by doing so, they lose the following reward: ‎The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said “No Muslim servant supplicates for his brother behind his back but that the angel says: And for you the same.” ‎[Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2732]
